How to Access your Course

Register with BizVision

You will need to create a login and password the first time you purchase from this site. Your APA login will not work in this catalog. To register, visit https://apa.bizvision.com/members/register.php.

To purchase course

View a detailed description of the course and then select add to cart. When all items are in the cart, select the proceed button to checkout and enter payment information. You will receive confirmation of your purchase via email from support@bizvision.com.

To view purchased courses

Select My Account to view your dashboard. Select the course title from your listing of available products to launch the course.

Preparation for a webcast

How do I test my system prior to the webcast?

To test your system, Click on Login above and enter your email address and password. You will be redirected to your Dashboard. Under Available Courses, click on the name of the webcast you’ve registered for. Once on the webcast page, you should be able to see and hear a test video on the page.

How do I connect to the webcast on the day of the event?

  1. To connect to the webcast, click on Login above and enter your email address and password. You will be redirected to your Dashboard.
  2. Under Available Videos/Courses, click on the name of the webcast you’ve registered for to be redirected to the webcast player page.

How long will I have access to a webcast?

All CE online courses (Convention CE Session Recordings, CE Workshops Recordings, Clinician's Corner workshops) have a specified access period. You will have access to your course for 12 months from the time of your purchase. Please check your email confirmation for purchase date. For individuals participating in a live Webcast, you will have access to the on-demand version of the Web cast for 12 months from the time the live Web cast took place. The on-demand version of the program becomes available online within 2 weeks of the initial broadcast.

I am having trouble logging in to my account

If you have registered for a course on this website, you will need to use the email address and password you entered when you registered. If you don’t know what your user information is, or it isn’t working for you, please call the Helpdesk at 1-800-747-1719 to have your login information reset.

What do I do if I need to change courses, cancel my order or get a refund?

For live webcasts-
To change webcasts, cancel an order or get a refund, please send an email to cpe@apa.org with your name, email address, phone number and Date and Name of Webcast. We will respond to your request within one business day and confirm the outcome via email.

For on-demand recordings and interactive classroom programs-
No refunds. All sales are final.

Can I pay by check or PO?

We are happy to accept payment by check for the webcasts.  To do this, follow these steps:

    1. If you haven’t already created an account on this website, do the following to create an account:
      1. Click Login above.
      2. Click the “Not Registered Yet? Sign up now.” link.
      3. Complete the registration process for the user who will be attending the webcast including setting up your email address and password.
    2. Send an email to support@bizvision.com with the following information:
      1. Name
      2. Email Address
      3. Date, Title and Cost of Webcast(s).
    3. Within 1 Business Day of receiving your email, the Help Desk will register for you the requested event(s) and you will receive an email confirming your registration.
    4. Send a copy of this email with payment to the following address:

  1. Payment must be received before the day of the webcast for you to be able to attend the event.

How do I receive a certificate of completion?

Throughout the webcast you will see a number of unique code letters displayed in the webcast player. You will need to keep track of the code(s) to receive your certificate. Once the webcast is complete, click on the Certificate tab on the bottom of the webcast player. Follow the instructions on that tab to enter the code(s) and be taken to your certificate of completion. You must submit all applicable part(s), e.g., 1 code per 50 or 60 minutes, to receive CE credits; No partial credits will be awarded.

What do I do if I missed one of the codes or am having trouble with my CE certification?

For any certification issues, contact the Help Desk at 800-747-1719 or support@bizvision.com.

How do I access my certificate?

  1. Click Login above.
  2. Login with your email address and password.
  3. Click on Credits Earned.
  4. You will see the title of all previous webcasts you have attended.  By clicking on the title of the course, you will be taken to the certificate for that completed course.

 

Technical Issues

How do I know if I have the bandwidth necessary to view the webcast?

All webcasts will be streamed at 256K. Please test your system using the test link given to you when in your registration email and again by email the day before the webcast to make sure that your computer and your network can handle streaming video at this bandwidth. If you are having trouble with the webcast buffering or not playing, please work with the Administrator of your network for additional help.

I am unable to open the video player or see the streaming video in the player.

  1. Make sure you have the latest Adobe Flash Player, which can be downloaded from http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/.
  2. Try logging out of your account and logging back in and restarting the player.
  3. If you are still having issues viewing the webcast, please work with the Administrator of your network for additional help.

What do I do if I can’t hear the audio?

  1. Confirm that sound is enabled on your computer.
  2. Try logging out of your account and logging back in and restarting the player.
  3. Test audio from other flash videos at another site like www.youtube.com.
  4. If you are still having issues viewing the webcast, please work with the Administrator of your network for additional help.

Why was I able to see the test but have issues with the actual webcast?

The actual webcast will be streamed at the same rate of the test, 256 Kbps. If you were able to see the test but are having trouble viewing the actual webcast, it means that there is something taking up too much bandwidth on your network. Do what you can to reduce any other heavy bandwidth use on your computer and contact the Administrator of your network for additional help.

How do I restart the webcast if I stop or get disconnected?

  1. To connect to the webcast click Login above and enter your email address and password. You will be redirected to your Dashboard.
  2. Under Available Courses, click on the name of the webcast you’ve registered for to be redirected to the webcast player page.

Who do I contact if I still have questions?

If you still have questions, you can contact the Help Desk by phone at 800-747-1719 or email at support@bizvision.com. The Help Desk is available to assist you by phone 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
