The field of child and adolescent mental health (CAMH) is dedicated to advancing interdisciplinary knowledge and applying that knowledge to address the mental health concerns of children and adolescents.  As a leading journal in the field, the Journal of Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology (JCCAP) provides a critical bridge among CAMH disciplines. The Future Directions Forum is an outgrowth of the Journal and provides a context for harvesting the knowledge and building critical skills that enhance the field of child and adolescent mental health. This annual event showcases interdisciplinary work in the field, provides professional development training to early career scientists, and raises public awareness of the “best and brightest” of these scientists-in-training. The Future Directions Forum provides a context for sharing knowledge, building skills, and recognizing excellence. An extended description of the Forum can be found here: www.jccapfuturedirectionsforum.com.
