The purpose of this workshop is to help you avoid trial-and-error learning by providing you key tips for maximizing your professional functioning in four key areas: 1) Writing, Research, and Grants, 2) Teaching and Evaluation, 3) Service and Support, and 4) Balance and Burnout.  Get a leg up on your academic career by learning how to overcome the common hurdles before you come to them.  Original webcast date: January 26, 2018.

Learning Objective

1. Identify three ways to improve your writing and writing productivity.

2. Describe two common challenges among early career academics, and how to address them.

3. Develop at least one “Commitment to Change”; one thing that you can do now to improve your success in any of the four areas discussed in this workshop.
