The Future Directions Forum is an outgrowth of the Journal and provides a context for harvesting the knowledge and building critical skills that enhance the field of child and adolescent mental health. This annual event showcases interdisciplinary work in the field, provides professional development training to early career scientists, and raises public awareness of the “best and brightest” of these scientists-in-training. The Future Directions Forum provides a context for sharing knowledge, building skills, and recognizing excellence.
